Holy shit i just watched Palin on weekend update and that was the most surreal and awesome thing that pop culture has produced.

A Prayer To The Internet

Dear Internet,

This is Johnny. I don't ask for much, but I had something I would like to give to you, but also for you to do something. I thought of a word while watching the McCain-Palin rallies, with their...unfortunate crowds. I don't necessarily agree with this word, I thought about it specifically after wondering "what will the internet's take on this be?" And thend I thought of the word: Renazicans.

Re - na - zee - kins

Let me explain. I don't think Republicans are Nazis (although I do think this campaign is both bringing out the worst in people and bringing the worst people out of the woodworks). I just imagined the internet four days in the future and saw the word in blogs and on demotivators and lolcatz.

But I won't hold you to that, O Internet! Fair is fair. I offer up this word to you, fair and square. Do with it, or don't, but please do, what ye will. I can put no limits on things when the internet takes hold, and I accept that (in case someone sues me, in which case, of course I'm not responsible for the internet!). Accept this offering, Internet. Do not do your best or your worst, just do something.

A Prediction

No one reads this blog, but maybe someone will look for the first person to call this on the internet. From tonight, Friday October 10, 2008 through next Thursday, October 16, we will witness the total collapse of the McCain campaign, under the weight of Palin's inquiry report and the ugliness of the crowds and tone far overpowering the ill-considered but ultimately nothing connection between Obama and Ayers. McCain will unfairly go down in history as having run a dirty, perhaps racist or nationalist campaign. After Obama wins, some fraction of the country, who was falsely led by the campaign to feel that being angrily opposed to Obama based on vicious rumors was a legitimate fear, will remain permanently opposed to him, and will continue to spread rumors about him.
