Stuff which must be done
So this is my last week of class before I start my internship at the Onion in New York.
I have to make a movie for my film final which I'm furiously procrasinating over.
I don't know if this is a funny idea or not:
A shitty action movie where the device which drives the plot is the fact that the main character gets voicemails from the future. And half of them are like drunk dials and his mom, and not very helpful for actually accomplishing his action goals.
Maybe I'm overexplaining this. Anywhom.
Go to the punch bowl I think our new pdf for the issue should be up soon.

Today's Chuckles
Today Punch Bowl is running an article on it's website by Alex King called "5 Steps to Internshipping" about how to get a summer job as a college student.
Be sure to check in to the Punch Bowl at www.thepunchbowl.net tomorrow when my new piece "A Guide to Van Pelt During Reading Days" comes out.
Also, our print issue should be hitting the streets this week, so if you're at Penn, keep an eye out for that! The pdf of the issue should go up in a week or two after we've handed out all the new ones.

Things I Will Be Plugging
Welcome, blog-faces! Welcome to my humble abloge. I am Johny McNulty, and this is The McNulty, perhaps later to be called The McNulty Something. I am a senior at the University of Pennsylvania (Penn) and I'll be graduating in December.
I write and perform comedy. I write for The Punch Bowl, Penn's humor magazine, and I study improv at the Upright Citizens' Brigade Theater in New York City, and I perform there on occasion, and more often at the Peoples' Improv Theater (The P.I.T.). I also write, on an as-yet-unpaid basis, jokes for Saturday Night Live's Weekend Update.
Primarily, because I do not have thoughts and feelings I wish to share with anyone, I will be using this outpost of the internet to further these goals. More specifically, I will write funny things and exhort you to read them, and point you, the loyal reader, to other funny things on the World Wide Web.
Eskimo Make-Out Sessions,
Johnny McNulty
